Weather in the mountains
A cold front is approaching the Alps from the north-west and will move across South Tyrol during the course of the day.
In the mountains it will often be sunny and stable during the first half of the day. Clouds will pass through the northern mountain ranges at times. From late morning onwards, larger cumulus clouds will develop, and the risk of thunderstorms will subsequently increase.
Mountain weather tomorrow
The Alps will be affected by north-westerly winds at high altitudes. The foehn will continue to blow on the southern slopes.
In the mountains to the north, visibility will be reduced at times by clouds, and showers are possible along the border ridge, particularly to the east of the Brenner Pass. In the southern mountain ranges, the weather will be mainly sunny. Strong north-westerly winds.
