In the afternoon, the clouds will tend to thin out further, giving way to sunshine. Towards evening, cloud cover will tend to increase again in the east.

The highest temperatures range from 9° to 16°.

The high pressure system will weaken and moister air masses will reach teh Alps..
The weather will remain changeable, with only intermittent sunshine and the possibility of local showers throughout the day.

A temporary high is ensuring stable conditions.
At medium altitudes, patches of fog may initially restrict visibility. Otherwise, it will be sunny, with only low-lying and therefore harmless cumulus clouds forming in the afternoon.

Saturday will bring lots of clouds again, with some rain in some areas during the day. On Sunday, sunny spells will alternate with thicker clouds and isolated showers will form. Light precipitation is possible on Monday morning, but the clouds will then break up and it will become quite sunny. There will be foehn winds, especially in Vinschgau and Wipptal. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with thicker clouds at times on the main Alpine ridge. Foehn winds will continue.
