This afternoon, it will be sunny with just a few harmless clouds over the mountain slopes.

Temperatures will rise to 16° in the Wipptal valley and up to 19° in the lowlands.

Moist air masses will determine the weather on the southern side of the Alps.
Light rain and snow will fall on many mountains until after midday. Afterwards, conditions will gradually clear from the alpine crest and the clouds will thin out.

The Alps will be affected by a strong high-pressure system over central Europe.
There may still be a few residual clouds in teh morning, particularly in the southern mountain ranges, but otherwise it will be sunny the whole day.

On Friday it will remain very sunny, with clear skies for most of the day. Temperatures will continue to rise. Saturday will also bring plenty of sunshine, with just a few cumulus clouds in the afternoon. On Sunday there will be a mix of sun and clouds. Monday will also be quite sunny, with cumulus clouds forming in the afternoon and a slight increase in the likelihood of showers.
